I think the mind/body connection is an integral aspect of overall health, so I like to start each group class I teach by asking participants to share their "word of the day."
The word of the day can be anything they choose to share that day -- a feeling, a goal, a task they need to complete, a problem they're facing. Sharing our word or words each day helps us to connect with and support one another, and it also allows for positivity to flow.
Words can have a powerful influence in our lives! Just by saying the word "joy," we can more easily feel the sense of joy inside. Research is even showing that positive thinking can help build strong life skills.
According to the "happiest man on Earth," happiness is a skill that can be learned!
